There’s power in faking it, but what happens when you BREAK it?  In this interview, we sit down with a few of the cast and writers of the newest Dallas Comedy House mainstage sketch revue, Fake It ‘Til You Break It. This sketch comedy show features a stellar cast (Andrew Plock, Danny Neely, Emily Gee, Julia Estelle, Kate Grogan, and Patrick Hennessy), two writers (Ashley Bright and Brian Harrington), and is directed by Cody Hofmockel.

Established in 2009, Dallas Comedy House is celebrating a decade of providing a stage for laughter to the Dallas comedy community. The 10th annual Birthaversary is a week-long celebration packed with fun, friends and FREE food. The event comes hot off the Dallas Comedy House announcement  of new, exciting staff changes.

Amanda Austin Selected For Leadership Dallas Class of 2018

Amanda Austin, Owner and Artistic Director of Dallas Comedy House, has been selected as a member of the Dallas Regional Chamber's Leadership Dallas Class of 2018.

Founded in 1975, Leadership Dallas prepares a diverse group of leaders to serve as agents and sustainers of positive change for the quality of life in the Dallas region. The program serves as a catalytic opportunity for individuals who are both acknowledged and aspiring leaders to continue their professional development and further cultivate a demonstrated commitment to the serving the community.

Scoop On Sketch: Walker Dog

It was a Dark and Stormy Cocktail of an evening when Blitsy Kittenz dusted off the Taco Bell shell crumbs from her jumpsuit while she skipped down Main Street. She was running late to interview at the Dallas Comedy House. She was to interview Walker Dog, you see. Walker Dog is a wonderful group filled with sweet cream cornies, a bunch of crunchy granola guys and gals like, Elizabeth Burkhead, Brent Crable, Jay Jacoby, Jeff Garlish, Molly Jakkamsetti and their lion leader, David Allison. Blitsy ran into the green room and bellowed, “Tea for two and how about I interview you?!” They all stared at her and said, “Interview, yes. Tea, no.”
