Each week, or maybe every other week if we’re lazy, we’ll feature a Dallas Comedy House performer and get to know him or her a little better by using questions that Playboy centerfolds are usually asked. If you’d like to volunteer to be a centerfold before we come for you, email us and let us know. The only requirement is that we need a full-length, CLOTHED, photo of yourself for, you know, the centerfold part. This edition features the always funny Madeleine Burkart. Madeleine comes to us from Kansas City, Mo., and will be leaving us for the bright lights of New York City at the end of the month. Since Dallas doesn't have the word "city" in its name, she just couldn't stay here any longer. That, and she's run out of ways to impress us with the way she mimes drinking tea. She needs fresh eyes, y'all! You can help wish her well this Friday as she performs with her troupes—7:30 p.m. with Richard Rope and 9 p.m. with Photobomb. Also, ask her to tell you her one mitt story.
Hometown? Kansas City, MO.
Guilty Pleasures? I like to answer the phone as Pancake sometimes. See question No. 8 for details on Pancake.
Ambitions? To do improv forever and to live forever.
Best Concert? When I was in high school, I used to go to local concerts every weekend and Dish was my favorite band. You all should check them out! Represent KC!
Favorite Book? Pride and Prejudice.
Favorite Movie? Pride and Prejudice, the BBC miniseries.
Favorite TV Show? I don't have a TV.
Pets? I have a wonderful Boston Terrier named Pancake. She is the best.
Foods I Crave? Potatoes! I love them in all forms!
People I Admire Tina Fey for obvious reasons. I also admire Grover Cleveland for being the only president to have two non-sequential terms. America just could not get enough of him.
Dream Role? I would love to be a historical re-enactor for the history channel. I just want to be Cleopatra's arm or a medieval townswoman walking down the lane.
Favorite Song to Sing? Anything from a musical (in case you couldn't already tell, I am super cool by this point). I like Avenue Q, LIttle Shop of Horrors, and Hairspray. I like to sing along with Pandora.
Good First Date Idea? The best date ever would be at a fun fair at the beach. We would eat hot dogs and ride all of the coasters.
