Improvised Horror Movie Opens This Thursday!

Are you afraid of the dark? Are you terrified of The Faculty at your school? Is your next vacation at a Cabin in the Woods?  Then come see Dallas Comedy House's newest improvised show, the Improvised Horror Movie, every Thursday night in October at 8PM. The DCH Film Society will create a never before seen live horror movie, based on audience suggestion. The virgin, the whore, the jock, the brain, the outcast, the fool...they'll all be there, just like in your favorite horror movie. (CLICK HERE FOR ADVANCED TICKETS!)  Director Tabitha Muhn, former Chicago improviser, has always been a fan of a good slasher movie and wanted to bring the improvised movie format from Chicago to Dallas and knew DCH was a great place for the show. "Pulling ideas from directors like Wes Craven, John Carpenter, and Robert Rodriguez played a role in our incorporation of camera shots and horror movie tropes, " said Muhn. This show is a full horror movie experience, only improvised. You'll see the stereotypical characters that appear in every horror movie, lots of deaths, and plenty of teenage hormones. Everything we do will make the audience feel like they are watching a movie."

The Improvised Horror Movie will run the remaining Thursdays in October (10th, 17th, 24th, 31st) at Dallas Comedy House at 8PM. Tickets are only $5. The final night of the show (Halloween!) will also offer a haunted house before the show and costume contest and dance party immediately following the show. Due to the limited run of this show, advance tickets are recommended. CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE ADVANCED TICKETS!
