Intern of the Week: Rick Dalby!

Hooray! Rick Dalby is our newest Intern of the Week! Rick is one of the hardest working humans I have ever met. He is dedicated, dependable, genuine, and gosh -- just an all-around solid dude! Don't be fooled by Rick's mysterious aura. He may seem like a man of few words, but underneath that demure smile is a prudent, opinionated (and funny!) fellow. If you see Rick on a Saturday night (which is very likely, as he's the king of the Saturday night interns), strike up a conversation! Need an icebreaker? Check out this Q&A segment we put together while riding a tandem bike around White Rock Lake.

Q: What's the funniest thing you've seen happen during an intern shift?

I don’t know about funniest, but one of my favorite memories from interning was when a very drunk bride-to-be spent a few minutes talking to me at the box office about how she was getting married soon and isn’t that crazy?

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you want to go?

Scotland. Just do the tourist thing.

Q: What's your favorite Geico commercial?

The one where the gecko learns how to crochet. It had me in stitches.

"This Year" - The Mountain Goats

Q: Do you have any pets?

I have a cat. Her name is Athena and she’s an adorable jerk.

Q: Favorite late-night snack?

Pizza. Always pizza.
