Going to the Dallas Comedy House is an event. You walk into this place of funny with no preconceived notions or ideas about what you are about to see. The best thing is you can enjoy the evening by yourself or with a group. Doesn’t matter.
So, here are some pros and cons about seeing a show by yourself or with friends.
Seeing a Show by Yourself
Pros - You can sit wherever you want. Or where in the interns tell you. - You can order a random beer and no one will question you. If you order six, then they may question you, but one beer, no way. - You can laugh so hard that you make snot bubbles and no one will judge you.
Cons - You will be labeled a potential serial killer. - You will be asked, “Are you a student” more times than you can count. - You will be get asked by the interns, “You can wait in the back until your guest shows up.”
Seeing a Show with Friends
Pros - You can sit wherever you want. Or where the interns tell you. - If you order a table full of beer, you are a rock star. Sharing is caring. - You can laugh really hard with friends, which is always cool.
Cons - You will be asked, “Is this your significant other?” - Someone will have to pee during the show. It’s science. One-out-of-four people pee every 20 minutes. - Someone will order the Man Dip, and you know how I don’t do well with queso.
Going by yourself or with friends is a great option for a fun night out. I recommend either unless you can’t get over that “Serial Killer” label.
