-Theater Director




We are currently seeking a full-time theater director. This is a new, salaried position for the theater.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

-Manage year-long theater schedule for internal and external programming, to include management of DCH performers and outside talent                                                                                   -Evaluate show trends and audience response to troupes/show concepts for improv, sketch, stand-up, and experimental shows -Maintain relationships with ticket holders via email communication and phone before and after every show -Maintain the website calendar -Manage all performers and daily performer communication                                                                                                           -Maintain all show descriptions, performer bios, headshots, troupe pages, show artwork submissions, etc. -Manage master theater and training center room schedules for rehearsals, shows, and private events -Curate year-long media campaign for the theater department of DCH to include: social media, blog posts, press releases, in-house photography schedule, pre-post show interviews with outside talent, etc. -Manage advertising budget for theater promotions (print/online/sponsorships/events,etc) -Maintain theater and greenroom integrity and prop inventory -Schedule and train hosts for all shows keep them updated on weekly announcements/drink specials -Manage year-long theater schedule for internal and external programming -Evaluate show trends and audience response to various shows including popular troupes/show concepts for improv, sketch, stand up, and experimental shows -Build and maintaining working relationships with outside vendors and venues to grow Group Sales for shows

Desired Qualifications 

-Experience in a professional theater setting

-Experience managing large groups of people

-Successful track record of working in a team environment

-Strong negotiation skills

-Strong communication, networking, and presentation skills

-Experience with business to business sales

-Proven track record of setting clear goals and implementing an execution plan for success

Cook/Wait/Bar Staff 

cocktailWe are looking to add more people to our kitchen and bar staff. In the spirit of improv and "having each other's backs", lll employees of the DCH kitchen and bar are cross trained in all departments.  Our kitchen/bar is opened Tuesday-Saturday nights, with a minimum of 6 Sunday shifts throughout the year during our showcase weekends.

Desired Qualifications

Previous restaurant and/or bar experience

Strong work ethic

Fun personality


TABC and Food Handler Certification (can be completed after you are hired, but prior to your first training shift at DCH)
