Our latest intern of the week is Kaitlin Sands! I can't think of a better person to be crowned Intern of the Week for the first week of Term 2. As a veteran intern, Kaitlin really shines when it comes to mentoring new additions to our intern family. She is a kind, delightful human, and her genuine love for this community is contagious. Get to know more about Kaitlin by reading this interview we had on a rooftop patio while eating a bunch of really expensive lobsters!
Meet Heather Ehrcke! This is the final Intern of the Week victor for Term 1, and I can't think of a better person to be in the spotlight. Heather stepped into this program with the absolute best attitude, and quickly became everyone's friend. We are truly lucky to have her in our intern family. She is as fierce as she is kind, and her love for DCH is contagious. The world needs more Heather Ehrckes!
Hooray! Rick Dalby is our newest Intern of the Week! Rick is one of the hardest working humans I have ever met. He is dedicated, dependable, genuine, and gosh -- just an all-around solid dude! Don't be fooled by Rick's mysterious aura. He may seem like a man of few words, but underneath that demure smile is a prudent, opinionated (and funny!) fellow.
Everybody meet Josh Edwards! He's our latest Intern of the Week! Josh is one of those people who is always happy and smiling. He carries a positive energy with him everywhere he goes. Every time I see Josh, I think, "Hmm... is he growing a mustache?" Josh likes to live life on the edge. He is currently taking TWO classes at the same time! (Crazy!) If you see him interning, introduce yourself! He has plenty of smiles and anecdotes to share, and he's great at making new friends. Learn more about Josh by reading this excerpt from his personal diary, which I secretly photocopied before putting the diary back under his pillow.
Everybody meet Drew! He's our latest Intern of the Week! Drew is no stranger to the DCH intern program, and is always willing to help others feel welcome and supported. When it comes to answering questions, lending a hand, or even covering shifts, Drew is the man! If you see him interning on Wednesday nights (look for the guy singing or telling jokes!), introduce yourself! You can also learn more about Drew by reading this compelling interview we had eight feet away from one another via walkie talkies.
