Heather has been improvising and writing sketches for ten years. She started in Chicago in 2007 where she performed for five years as a member of Red Light School District, the house troupe at University of Illinois-Chicago and a pH Productions pHarm Team. She moved back to Dallas in 2011 to attend law school at SMU (but spent most of her time writing, directing, producing, and acting in the filmed sketch comedy revue "SMU Law Follies" presented annually at the Magnolia Theater.) Currently, she practices law in Dallas and teaches improv skills to law students competing in advocacy competitions. Over the years, has taken workshops with pH Productions, iO, Susan Messing, and ComedySportz. She will graduate from DCH’s Improv Program in summer 2017. When not at DCH, you can find her reading in the hammock in her backyard.
Heather currently performs with Watermelon.
