Have you ever wanted to learn how to sing a hilarious song on the spot? You can by learning musical improv! In this three hour workshop, you will learn how to make up a song with your classmates utilizing your emotions and innate musical skills. Whether you are an experienced singer or not, you will have a blast learning the basics of musical improv with lots of positive feedback and encouragement. 

Leslie Collins, originally from Dallas, has spent the last 17 years in NYC performing professionally in theater and comedy. She has performed improv, musical improv and sketch on house teams at the Upright Citizens Brigade, Peoples Improv Theater (faculty), the Magnet and with the world famous musical improv troupe, Baby Wants Candy (Edinburgh Fringe). Leslie performed musical theater at such great theaters as the Goodspeed Opera House, Theater Under the Stars, Casa Mañana and the Flat Rock Playhouse, to name a few. You also may have seen her in commercials (Cascade, Amex, PBS) and on TV on MTV's "Made" (comedy coach), The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and VH1's "Best Night Ever."

Prerequisite: Students must have completed Level 1 Improv at DCH
