Ryan Vicksell is an actor, writer and all-around goofball who began performing in 2013 to escape his day job of teaching High School History and let his inner child escape. He quickly settled into his most famous recurring role at the Dallas Comedy House “Weird guy standing awkwardly at the bar”, where he can still be found on a weekly basis.
Ryan is a graduate of the Dallas Comedy House Improv and Sketch programs, and taken a variety of other classes including Standup, Acting and even Tap Dancing. In the past, he has performed in a variety of roles at DCH, including two house troupes, sketch revues, roasts, and other bits of oddity. He has taken a variety of workshops with improvisers such as Jamie Moyer and the Improvised Shakespeare Company.
Ryan currently performs with Encyclopedia Moronica, Learning Curve and Shameless Pug.
